A.J. Moye, who plays in Germany's top division with Frankfurt Skyliners, has suffered a stroke and will remain hospitalized, Reuters is reporting Thursday.

The 28-year-old former Indiana University player who played in the 2002 championship game collided with a team mate during training on Monday and was rushed to the hospital the next day after feeling unwell.

"He has had a stroke and he was until today in intensive care," said club spokesman Thomas Nawrath, he told Reuters."He is being moved from intensive care today but he will remain in hospital for a while longer. How long is still unclear."
