Yes when I am really, really, really, really bored I post on SN every now and then. Pretty much hit & run type posting.
I did try to leave a little hint in my last post there........on the whole Cody Zeller thing. It may not mean a hell of a lot but I have it on a really good, direct source that Luke Zeller says himself and Tyler are both pushing Cody to commit to IU. Now having said that, it is still Cody's decision to make but this bit of information was encouraging to say the least. Hopefully it ends up meaning something.

That's good news...The kids looks like another one of those Indiana kids with the size of a frount court guy, but with at least decent dribbling/passing skills and a high basketball IQ... I think Crean is making some hay on the recruiting front, but I really don't know what to expect this year...If Watford continues to develop and Creek comes back healthy, I'd think we'd be in the running for an NCAA berth, or at the least an NIT invite...Gotta be over .500...

does that guy still post over on rp.com? i forget...what started you thinking that he was me? i never made the connection. he never posted enough to tell if he was someone from here or indystar, or a tt alum who was annoyed by all the knight worshippers. i do admit to having several names that got banned by amanda, but at some point, i was unable to register any new screen names, so i gave up years ago. but, ttu33 is obviously you...the same phrases, the same arguments, the same style, the same tone. there are a few loopers who post there, and i don't know enough about them to match them up, but i'm pretty sure the head looper still makes an appearance or two (with different names to prop himself up).

I guess I have been banned from the SN forum for some reason -- not sure what unless it is slapping laffy and hitlermarshall around so much they cried to the FA about me -- still not sure what I did as I did not try to circumvent their language filter. Whatever. Since I am not able to post there now, I will reveal my rumor here -- I had already emailed it to Dan, and he was my witness. My sources told me that not only is Cody going to go to IU, but Tyler is going to transfer from UNC, sit out a year, and play alongside his brother at IU. Now we will have to wait to see if that rumor is going to come true. It would be cool if it does.

Looks like Laffy (now posting under BushLovesTorture managed to get Cooker banned at StarPluck.
Perhaps he did -- or hitlermarshall -- but I am not sure what I did that merited it. I studiously avoided getting around their language filter as hitler did, and I was no where near as offensive as laffy is as usual. I contacted the star -- I have not heard back from them. I hope they have a good reason, and if it is because I was insulting people, they had better get ready to ban about 1/3 or more of the users there. I have read the Colts and Openwheeled Racing forums, and I have heard about the religion/politics forum -- I am pretty sure I am not in the same league as many other posters. perhaps, it if is just a report 'em issue, I should get busy reporting??? lol Contrary to rosy palmer's belief, I CAN get another ID easily enough. lol

I'm not hiding who I am over there. I think it's well known. I'm a TT fan now anyway...doesn't really matter. It's been like a freaking decade. Of course, I will never be 100% certain that Elbrazo is you...but...I'm pretty darn sure. yeah...Gojko is still there...Howard...and a few others whom I can't remember their old names. This has been going on for a long time. I remember getting into pissing matches with Buzz and Cajun...and a few others while I was still in college. :-) Seems like eons ago. Good memories.

Hi Dave, yes it has... I'm optimistic as well...I think Coach Crean has done an amazing job resurrecting the program...Unfortunately if we have a season anywhere close to the last two as far as wins and losses go, there will be some who'll start calling for his head...

Crean is having a busy week. He visited with Hanner Perea today in the Region and he will be hanging out with Cody Zeller at an open gym in Washington IN tomorrow. The one thing I just love about the man, he will not be outworked or outhustled in the recruiting game. Cody isn't going to decide anything officially until he takes all his official visits but I've heard nothing remotely negative in regards to his feeling about IU and barring some unforeseen disaster, I truly believe he will commit in November and if that happens the dominoes will really start tumbling.

Oh...you were probably second on the list. Historyman was relentless, though, and would keep the discussion going through the night back when I was still in college. You weren't quite as dedicated. :-) You were mostly post-historyman...when emotion wasn't really part of the equation anymore. :-)

Indeed. My archiving days are over, aside from archiving this last hurrah thread. It was all fun while it lasted. It was a bunch of very interesting and clever people having a good time talking about just about everything. Considerably more non-IU than IU-related topics.
Sadly, starting with guys like Quick, Gonzer, Bloom, Orson, Foosier, Buzz123 and even JockItch dropping off the scene, things gradually became less entertaining. Luckily the remaining lineup was still top-notch and it was still a lot of fun times for a good while there.
HD?, thanks a bunch for your efforts in keeping things alive for as long as you did. It was really enjoyable jousting with you over the years, you old bastard. It's too bad it all had to end in a whimper.

Come to think of it, it’s sort of ironic that I am making these Domesday posts on Doomsday, May 21 2011. If HD? and his fellow heathens were to look closely toward the eastern sky as they enjoy their evening meal, they may see the good guys like xjet/mojo waving goodbye to this good earth. However, I've heard at least one rapture expert say we could be leaving in the western sky so just play it safe and keep an eye in all directions. Gotta say though, I started posting on Star News back when I was still on campus in Bloomington...when I first started posting there no registration or passwords were required and people could just post whatever. Of course that was back when Gojko and his ilk actually did post on the SN. It makes me feel old to even think about now tbh.
