Well, I definitely hold a grudge against he and the late Christopher (bleeped out of respect for the dead) Simpson for their staged Saturday Night Massacre, his other non-sports IU disasters, and his NCAA crap like banning the "injun" mascots; but this is his life at stake, and I have complete compassion for most anyone who has such a tough fight in front of them and wish him only the best and a full recovery. 

BTW, have you made a strong recovery from your surgery, Craig?  Everything working as it should?  I hope so.

I have made a fairly strong recovery, thanks for asking.  Everything is not working as it should -- I have VERY limited walking ability -- and I am therefore going under the knife again this coming summer.  I had had a fem-to-fem bypass -- I need to have a bi-fem bypass now.  I asked the vascular surgeon if it HAD to be done right then (late last July) -- he said no -- I told him it was going to wait til the next summer.  I was not going to take another entire semester off from teaching.  I know, I know -- I am stupid in thinking more about the kids and the job -- but he assured me it didn't really make much or any difference.

Once again, it is all my own fault for smoking so many years -- well, that and my genetics, diabetes, and high cholesterol.  Fuck me if I can't take a joke -- or something like that. lol

Thanks for the update, and I definitely hope you get all things corrected and can get more mobile ASAP, since walking a couple of miles a day will make one hell of a difference in your cholesterol and diabetes.  And congrats for the smoking ban.  That is never easy, as I have witnessed a few times and am encouraging one of my friends here -- who is already wound too tight -- to give it up. 

Keep us updated before you head back under the knife, and if you want me to send a couple of Moroccan working girls to get you in the "right frame of mind" before you have your next down time, then let me know.  No matter what, I'll pray it goes as well as it can go.

Ok, I ran this by the wife, and she is ok with the working girls as long as you are willing to pony up for a couple of male Moroccan slaves to keep her company while I am in the hospital.   If you have the scratch to do this, let me know and I will shoot you the shipping address -- oh, hell -- I guess if you are willing to do this, since I won't be IN until after you send them our way, we can pick them up at Weir Cook International (I will never quit calling it that! lol).
