QB Dusty Kiel and WR Duwyce Wilson.

Here's some information on Kiel... http://www.bigtenfever.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6077

from the thread...

"Dusty comes from a long line of Columbus East quarterbacks with the last name of Kiel. His Uncle Blair started it off in the 70s and went on to play at Notre Dame. Dusty's father Kip took the reins right after Blair and played college ball at Butler. After a brief hiatus in the 90s, Dusty's brother Drew took over in 2006 and 2007 and now plays at Illinois State. While Dusty is the starting QB now, he is likely not the last Kiel QB for the Olympians as younger brother Gunner (what a name for a QB!) is awaiting his turn to lead the team.

Dusty is more of a pro-style QB, and some have even thought that while IU would give him a fair shot at QB, he might end up on the defensive side of the ball for the Hoosiers. As a junior Kiel threw for over 2500 yards with a 60% completion rate.

Update on Kiel:

Kiel just completed an undefeated regular season for the 9-0 East O's, with a 44-6 road win over 6-3 Bedford North Lawrence. Dusty passed brother Drew on the East all-time passing list with 4819 career yards. He is the only O's player to reach 6000 career total yards (6106).

Three-sport star Wilson of Columbus East won state in the long jump yesterday. I haven't heard mention of it lately but as far as I know both he and Kiel are still going to IU.

It would be nice if two things would happen:  1.  Lynch could start getting the best -- or at least among the best -- of the players Indiana has to offer. and 2. Lynch could then start getting players from other states to recognize that and to come to IU.  I believe that is what helped Mallory to be as successful as he was.

3.  I also hope that Lynch can actually coach these players successfully.

Well I still don't think Lynch can coach but damn he can recruit.  He secured a commitment from a JUCO defensive back who chose us over some Florida schools and could be 4 star caliber and now he has a verbal from a 4 star DE from Ohio of all places.
